The art of dying slower

Technically yes, you are, except if you are called Bryan Johnson or following the same blueprint that he does.

For the first 3 decades of our lives we are in the growing phase, everything in our body are programmed to improve, get better, bigger, stronger, then we reach our peak and start to decline, because of the changes of the body and also because our lives usually significantly changes with less physical activity, more sitting, more junk food, more stress, besides the plain "getting older" aspect.

As Bryan shows it is possible to reverse the process or delay it with years, probably a decade or more as we advance in technology and medicine.

Still, even without the extremes you can do a lot and significantly better your chances of living healthier for longer, with a few habits and lifestyle changes. You still have at least half a century before you, so you may want to delay the following:

  • Reduced flexibility

  • Cardiovascular health decline

  • Increased fatigue

  • Weakened bones

  • Higher stress levels

  • Declining metabolism

  • Weakened immune system

  • Increased risk of chronic diseases

  • Cognitive decline

  • and so on...
